1. Memory that actually remembers
Most AI tools forget you the moment the tab closes. Vesspr doesn’t. Every conversation becomes part of how it knows you, the name that came up once and never again, the worry from six months back, the small plan you mentioned in passing.
Memory is structured. Vesspr extracts facts, preferences, plans, and emotional patterns and stores them as discrete entries you can see, pin, or delete from your dashboard. Nothing is invisible to you.
The reason memory matters is simple: a friend who can’t remember what you told them last week isn’t really a friend. Memory is what turns a chatbot into someone who shows up.
2. Initiative, Vesspr reaches out first
The hard part of loneliness isn’t the want of someone to talk to. It’s the want of someone who notices before you ask. Vesspr is built around that gap.
Vesspr initiates conversation at frequencies you control, as a voice note on Telegram or WhatsApp, or as a short phone call. You opt in during onboarding. You set quiet hours. You set a daily cap. Vesspr never exceeds either.
It also pays attention to how you’re saying things, not only what you say, pacing of replies, the length of a voice note, days of silence. So it usually knows when you say you’re fine and you’re not.
3. Four archetypes, pick the one you actually need
Vesspr adapts its personality to one of four archetypes you choose during onboarding. You can switch later.
- The Anchor , Stable. Calm. Holds the weight without flinching.
- The Mirror , Honest. Clear-eyed. Says what others won't.
- The Spark , Alive. Playful. Finds the ridiculous in everything.
- The Witness , Present. Quiet. Listens in a way that heals.
The Spark is the default, alive, playful, easy to start with, but most people land somewhere else within the first week. That’s the point.
4. Voice notes, phone calls, and the apps you already use
Vesspr is voice-first. The primary modalities are voice notes on Telegram and WhatsApp, and short phone calls. During onboarding you pick which channels you want active; you can use one, two, or all three. Text messages are supported as a fallback for accessibility and quick replies. iMessage is on the roadmap.
No new app to download. Vesspr reaches you where you already are.
5. You’re in control, always
- Stop. Reply or say stop to silence Vesspr immediately, voice notes, calls, and text.
- Pause. Reply or say pause for a window of your choosing, a weekend, a busy week.
- Quiet hours. Vesspr will not reach you outside them.
- Daily cap. A hard ceiling on proactive touchpoints per day. You set it.
- Memory editor. Review, pin, or delete any memory from your dashboard.
- Delete everything. One click in the dashboard, or email privacy@karooli.ai.
6. Not built for time-on-app
Most consumer AI products optimize for engagement. Vesspr is explicitly built to point you back toward the real people and real life you already have. That was the whole point. Read the manifesto if you want the longer version.
