This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Vesspr subscriptions. Vesspr is an emotional-wellbeing software product — it is not a medical device, not a therapy substitute, and not a replacement for professional mental-health care.

2. How to Request a Refund
You may request a refund through any of these three pathways:
- Email billing@karooli.ai with your account email and order ID (found in your payment confirmation email or at https://app.vesspr.ai/dashboard/subscription).
- Use the subscription management page at https://app.vesspr.ai/dashboard/subscription — click "Request refund" and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Reply "refund" in your Telegram or WhatsApp conversation with Vesspr — you will receive a confirmation link to complete the request.
All three pathways are equivalent. You do not need to provide a reason for refunds within the 14-day window.
3. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, we issue it within 5 business days. After that, the refund typically appears in your account within 3–10 business days, depending on your card issuer and bank. We will send you an email confirmation when the refund is issued on our end.
4. Currency
Refunds are issued in the original currency of your purchase, to the original payment method. If your bank applies a currency-conversion fee on the original charge, we cannot refund that fee — it is between you and your card issuer.
5. Payment Processor Disclosure
Refunds are processed by our Merchant of Record — Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com) as primary, or Creem.io (creem.io) where it served as the processor for the original transaction. The Merchant of Record handles all payment processing, invoicing, and refund disbursement on our behalf. The refund process and timelines described in this policy apply regardless of which provider handled the original transaction.
Our payment processor may have its own dispute-resolution terms. If you initiate a dispute directly with your card issuer (chargeback), the processor's terms apply. We honour all legitimate disputes, but chargebacks bypass this refund policy (see Section 6).
6. Exceptions
The following exceptions apply to our standard refund policy:
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer, the dispute is resolved under the processor's chargeback policy, not this refund policy. We will provide evidence to the issuer as appropriate.
- Abuse of refund policy: Users who have received more than 2 refunds across the lifetime of their account forfeit eligibility for future refunds. This does not affect statutory rights.
- Account termination for Terms of Service violation: No refund is available where an account has been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., prohibited use, abusive behaviour, age-gate violation).
7. Statutory Rights
This refund policy does not limit or override your statutory rights as a consumer:
- EU/UK consumers: You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. Our 14-day no-questions-asked refund window is designed to honour and exceed this right.
- Indian consumers: Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 are preserved. You may seek redress through the appropriate consumer forum if you believe your rights have not been honoured.
- Other jurisdictions: If your local consumer law provides a longer cooling-off period or additional cancellation rights, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
8. Subscription Auto-Renewal Disclosure
IMPORTANT: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time before renewal to avoid the next charge. Renewal price will be the same as the original purchase price unless we notify you of a change at least 30 days in advance.
To cancel before renewal:
- Go to https://app.vesspr.ai/dashboard/subscription and click "Cancel subscription";
- Or reply "stop" in your Vesspr conversation on Telegram or WhatsApp;
- Or email billing@karooli.ai.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the service until then. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
9. Failed Payments and Grace Period
If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.):
- We retry the charge up to 3 times over a 7-day grace period.
- During the grace period, your subscription remains active — you do not lose access.
- We send an email notification after the first failure asking you to update your payment method at https://app.vesspr.ai/dashboard/subscription.
- If all retries fail after the grace period, your subscription is cancelled and access is downgraded to the free tier (if available) or suspended.
- No charge is applied for the period during which the service was suspended.
